Tetsu was born in Japan. He moved to Australia at age 16, where he studied photography at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). After 5 years in Melbourne, he moved to Europe to work in fashion photography. While living in Paris and then London, he collaborate with magazines such as Arena Homme Plus, i-D, Dazed & Confused and Commons & Sense. After a number of years in Europe, he moved to New York to explore work in the film industry. Tetsu now lives and works in Paris. Tetsu est né au Japon. Il démenage en Australie à l'age de 16 ans, ou il est formé à la photographie au Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). Après 5 ans passé à Melbourne, il décide de partir en Europe pour appronfondir son éducation et se lancer dans la photographie de mode. Il vit d'abord à Paris et ensuite à Londres, ou démarre sa collaboration avec des magazines tels que Arene Homme Plus, i-D, Dazed & Confused et Commons & Sense.
